Often, sufferers wait too long to receive assessment and medical treatment and become debilitated by disease or, when finally diagnosed, often have terminal illness, such as stage 4 cancer or AIDS. Breast and cervical cancers are high among rural women. Men suffer from TB, prostate and other cancers, or often have undiagnosed HIV, spreading disease to their spouses or partners. Rehema now offers outpatient clinic services, home based palliative and hospice care, and it has a small inpatient ward. We are joining the effort to care for those who suffer needlessly in the local community and beyond. BACK
