ALWAYS MERCY

May 3, 2017 ~ Clean Water, Food and Fun

Kenyan Deaconess getting water….

I want to give a little shout out for the fifth annual Taste of Loomis on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:30 -10:00 P.M. Each year, this event grows and tickets for last year’s event sold out!  So, buy yours now.

“OK, so what is this Taste of Loomis and why should I go?” you ask.  Well, here’s the deal.  Not only is Taste of Loomis a fabulous way to spend a Friday evening, but all the proceeds goes to the For One Another Foundation, and in particular, the clean water projects around the world.

Disclaimer:  I have a vested interested in this. Always Mercy partners with For One Another to bring clean water to Kenya. As of this writing, we’ve delivered over 400 water filters to folks in Kenya. This is a boatload of clean water for children, widows, orphans and families.

If that’s not reason enough to buy a ticket, then consider this: you will be treated to scrumptious food and libations from local restaurants, breweries, wineries and other vendors while listening to live music. You can stroll through the international shop and the silent auction. You can meet other folks who have a desire to support the gift of clean water throughout the world.  And, yours truly will be there too!

Tickets are available at www.foroneanother.org where you can also learn more about their mission to provide clean water to people in need around the world!
